Pillar integrates with Microsoft Entra ID using SAML.

Set up a SAML Single Sign-On Enterprise Application

1) First, from the Azure home page, go to Microsoft Entra ID. This is usually under the "Azure Services" section. You can also use the search box to access it easily.

2) From the Entra menu, you'll select Enterprise Applications:

3) And click on New Application in the upper left corner:

4) Click Create your own application button in the upper left corner:

5) Enter a name for the application (we suggest "Pillar SSO") and choose the "Non-gallery" checkbox. Then click Create.

6) After creating the application, click Single sign-on and select SAML

7) In the next screen, click Edit to change the Basic SAML Configuration values:

Identifier (Entity ID): https://app.pillar.hr

Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL): https://auth.pillar.hr/__/auth/handler

8) After configuring the application, you will need to download the base64 certificate, and share these values with Pillar:

  • Identity Provider Issuer (Your Microsoft Entra Identifier)

  • Identity Provider SSO URL (Your Login URL)

  • X.509 Signing Certificate (Your Certificate in Base64)
