Greetings on behalf of the entire Pillar team!!

This prep sheet is designed to give our much-anticipated partnership a slight head start. Below are a few steps you can take now that will help facilitate a smooth onboarding & implementation. While most are fairly straight forward, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Identify & Engage Your Administrators

Most Pillar integrations are fairly simple. However, the #1 cause of delays during the onboarding/implementation phase is delayed access to a customer’s platform administrators for integrations with your:

  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Conferencing tool (Zoom/Teams, etc)

  • Single Sign-on (SSO)

  • Scheduling tool (Calendly, etc)

If Pillar is going to integrate with any of the above, we suggest you engage with the appropriate internal admins sooner than later, if possible. Whether it’s formally submitting requests for resources, or simply getting on their radar, the importance can’t be overstated.

Whitelist Pillar’s Email Domain

An engagement with Pillar generally includes a series of automated email notifications to both interviewers and candidates at various stages of the interview process. On occasion, these are initially blocked by a new customer’s spam filters . To get ahead of it, feel free to share the following information with your email Administrator in advance:

"Pillar’s emails are sent from SendGrid from the authenticated domain em7103.pillar.hr and the dedicated IP address 159.183.157.38"

Organize/Prepare Interview Guides

Pillar’s “co-pilot” sits alongside your interviewer during interviews. It contains the predetermined list of questions and topics to be covered. It also provides the ability to score a candidate in real time. The Pillar team can upload your scorecards/interview guides for you (JSON or CSV files), saving you considerable time and effort of doing so manually.

If you don't have interview guides and need help, feel free to share relevant job descriptions with your Pillar contact and our AI Guide Generator can produce guides for you.

Identify a Preview/Launch Team

While we can support most any rollout, many new customers prefer to do so in stages. The goal being to develop a Preview team of “super users” who then serve as internal advocates who, along with Pillar, can assist in training and adoption across the organization. These preview teams often include:

  • Drivers of the initial initiative

  • TA/Recruiter Teams

  • Teams with high-volume, evergreen hiring needs (Ex: Sales, engineering, etc)

Begin Socializing Key Concepts

If it’s not occurred already, begin socializing the idea of Pillar, interview intelligence and recording of interviews (if applicable). The sooner relevant teams, stakeholders and members of leadership become familiar with Pillar, the better.

I’ve attached a couple FAQs to help in doing so, including:

I hope you find this information useful, and I look forward to our teams working together!

Happy hiring!
